Chair Warriors is a trio from Montreal, Canada. The line up of Brandon Mignacca - Vocals/Keyboards, Rob Flis - Guitars and Ryan Flis - Drums, formed in 2009 and are influenced by varied genres such as classical music, grunge and melodic rock. Their debut EP "A thousand words" contains 6 well crafted progressive modern rock songs in the same vein as Red but with a Muse vibe, if you check out their facebook page you can listen to their cover of Adele´s "Skyfall". So this band ain´t afraid to do anything unexpected, just like these songs that feels a bit artsy. The single "Lifelines" is more of a traditional modern rock song and it can be viewed at youtube, the softer "Death men poetry" is very beautiful and will appeal to fans of old school prog. "Ruby rain" bring thoughts to Matthew Good so hats off, my favorite is the smart rock of "Pill" where the crescendo is awesome. A band with lots of potential.
