4,5 out of 5

The 8th album from Foo Fighters has every chance of becoming a milestone in their catalogue, with each song recorded in a different city. The band went to Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Nashville, Austin, Chicago and New Orleans with a set of new arena rock songs that will stand proud right next to their biggest hits.
Dave Grohl and Co continued to work with producer Butch Vig who also did their previous album "Wasting light" and the result is like candy for the ears, the cd is put on repeat in my stereo and I can only come to the conclusion that FF is just as obvious in my life as the air I breathe.
And how cool is it with guest appearances from Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie) and many others.
The best tracks right now : "I am a river", "What did I do? / God as my witness" and "The feast and the famine".
