Let me present one of the most anticipated releases of 2016, "Forward in reverse" from the fab Danish trio Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. It´s the first studio album in 20 years from groove masters Tim Christensen - Vocals/Guitar, Martin Nielsen - Bass and Soren Friis - Drums.
One of my absolute favorite albums from 1996 is "Rotator" by DML so getting a new record from these guys is like winning the lottery.
And "Forward in reverse" is just as good as I hoped it would be, we get it all in this rock and roll heaven from a smorgasbord of melodies to a bombardment of riffs.
Just the way a DML record should sound like.
Tim Christensen is a modern Lennon and a hybrid of Jimmy Page and Ty Tabor of King´s X, perhaps one of the best songwriters in modern time.
The instrumental "Mindgasm" sounds like something Thin Lizzy could´ve released back in 1977 and it´s just one of a dozen fantastic songs.
Highlights : Brainless, Made to believe, Forward in reverse
Recommended if you like Into The Presence, Siamese, Agent Fresco
