The band is comprised of frontman Jansen Hogan, guitarist Jason Boucouras, drummer Geoffrey Jones, bass player Jack Crane, and multi-instrumentalist Carson Hogan. THE WLDLFE creates cinematic pop using maximalistic production and lyricism that is honest and simple.

The band found their beginning in 2016 with their debut EP “New”. “New” was a grassroots success receiving positive reviews from indie music publications, receiving airplay on over 90 college stations, being featured in the MTV Spotlight Spotify Playlist and even receiving tweets from actresses Abigail Breslin and Chloe Grace Moretz.

Introducing Hardcastle from Nashville

Graham and Miles Laderman have been playing music together since they could pick up an instrument. They met Val Hoyt, another lifelong musician, in Atlanta and he soon became like a brother to them. After playing together around Atlanta for about four years, the band members began their separate moves to Nashville and one by one.

While it was difficult during this process to stay connected and maintain a band 'long distance,' the necessity and yearning to play together never wavered. The connection they had made (soon to be joined by Noah Christian) was hard to rival, and knowing what each member was capable of, both with an instrument and without, made for an unmatched brotherhood.

In the fall of 2017, life changed for the band. Graham left school to focus on music full time, Miles was finally able to make the move to Nashville, and they linked up with their newest member and brother, Noah Christian. Now, with everyone in the same place and a complete lineup, Hardcastle began making a name for themselves.

Hardcastle charted on Spotify’s Viral 50 charts nationally AND globally, thanks to an amazing fan-base that they began to connect with on Twitter. They started touring numerous cities in the US, most notably with The Band Camino; they also played most recently in Knoxville at UTK's Volapalooza (with acts such as Juicy J and Zella Day). Hardcastle also continued to experience success in the Nashville area, selling out The High Watt as well as filling the Mercy Lounge.

Today, the band is tighter than it’s ever been. Graham, Miles, Val and Noah are focused on music full time, while sharing the same house in Nashville. After a summer of hard work and self-discovery, they are beginning a new chapter with the releases of ‘I Never Knew’ and ‘Invisible.’ Part of this growth involved the band re-assessing exactly who they are and the evolution of their sound.  Because of this new direction, they have decided to take down previous works from major store fronts and begin with a clean slate. A total re-set.

Hardcastle will build a name for themselves off of authentic and personal songs that have come from hours of hard work and introspection. It’s about loving the process…it's about brotherhood…it's about the shift in mentality from instant gratification and entitlement, to a love and appreciation for the songwriting, the music itself and the hard work it takes to get there. Be sure to keep up with Hardcastle’s next moves on all major social media platforms.

Modern metal band Cyhra delivers No Halos In Hell

Boosted by the success of their 2017 debut, Letters To Myself, Swedish bashers Cyhra are using that momentum and pushing forward with a new album, No Halos In Hell, and Nuclear Blast fully behind them. Founded by vocalist Jake E (ex-Amaranthe) and guitarist Jesper Strömblad (ex-In Flames), Cyhra has gone from being reminiscent of the duo's former bands to having an identity all its own. In fact, No Halos In Hell is one of those rare albums that defies being placed neatly in a boxed-up metal genre coming out heavy and dynamic, yet loaded with melodic vocal hooks that stay nailed to the brain for days while keeping the impact hard and heavy. Fusing these two elements in the best way possible was Cyhra's main focus this time out.
No Halos In Hell is out November 15 on Nuclear Blast Records, check out the new single Battle From Within.

Other highlights on the album are 'Bring Me Shine' which is about always searching for something more and never being satisfied in life, and 'Freak Out' which was originally written by Randy in high-school, and is about how all the kids try to be cool by acting like someone else, but really they should just let go and… freak out! Hysterical Cold Side and Dark Memories will be released on January 10, 2020.

Swiss band MAREY release Synthetic single from upcoming album

MAREY’s music takes on its full scope during these moments of intense receptivity, when the incessant swarming of human life is no longer enough to satisfy our needs for depth and sensitivity. The band is in its own way part of a movement of reaction to the musical boredom of the current highly publicized music scene.
Since 2016, the band has been constantly reinventing itself and embarking on an ever more complex and in-depth musical research. Above all, the love of creation prevails, without barriers, without taboos and without the desire to please or affiliate with a particular style. The independence and DIY aspect that the group wants to keep allows them to free themselves from codes.

With their willingness to surprise and disturb it happens that one hears influences from electronica and modern indietronica in their latest creations. Their texts and music are aimed at what is hidden deep within us and human nature. To plunge into this universe is to enter a lunatic world, between dreamlike light and gloomy coldness, between calm and violence. A macrocosm of questions rather than answers where nothing is permanent except the music and everything it contains.
Listen to the first single "Synthetic" from the upcoming album, out in 2020.
